Welcome to uCrouter project site!

We are glad to present the uCrouter project - the uClinux based router. The main purpose of this project is developing low-cost, high-performance devices for data networks building and for connecting to Internet. This project can be useful for embedded systems developers (remote control).

Now developed EVM50100 based on network controller S3C4510 (KS32C50100) from Samsung Electronics.

Development set EVM9200, based on AT91RM9200-QI from Atmel Corporation contain popular interfaces Ethernet 10/100,RS232, USB device, USB host, MultimediaCard, and can be useful for embedded systems developers.

Development set EVM79525 based on LH79525 from Sharp is under development and can be useful for mobile applications.

Development set EVMSAM7X based on AT91SAM7X from Atmel Corporation is under development.

Development set EVM9260 based on AT91SAM9260 from Atmel Corporation is under development.

Why we have solved to use these controllers? They are low-cost high-perfomance 32-bit RISC microcontrollers and have all necessary integrated functions. S3C4510/30.AT91RM9200,LH79525 are based on the CPU cores ARM7TDMI, ARM920, ARMM720T. These CPU cores are widely used in embedded systems, therefore many software-developing tools (the compilers, debuggers, operating systems, ...) including free are disigned for these CPU cores.

We hope that our work will useful for embedded systems developers, for communication equipment developers and in future for Internet provider and their clients. We shell try to make our devices reliable and easy-to-use. To work more efficient we need the feedback.
